WHY I AM A DEMOCRAT

I responded in the following manner:

How would you describe the current political climate? (Optional):

Obama is heading in the right direction. Do what is right critical of the moment with positive effect on long-range goals for and of the people who elected your candidates...compassionate investment in people.

Why are you a Democrat? (Optional):

I believe that as a people we have our inalienable rights for justice and liberty. Liberty is the reward for knowing what is right and doing them. How else can we learn what is right if not for having two well-educated and informed parents who knew what is right and are doing them? What is more right than to make sure that our children will also get the kind of education their parents had and thus empowered to create jobs or land well-paying jobs for themselves? As a democrat I know we are fighting for everyone to gain that education America needs if her future children will continue to maintain the standard of living we, their parents have been enjoying until the Republicans came into power again after the Clinton's. Democrats aim to level the playing field while Republicans want all for themselves. Greed is their trademark.

What do you believe the Democratic Party stands for? (Optional):

Democratic Party stands for what the mainstream Americans want and need: jobs, education, fair taxation, justice and liberty for all.
